I’m not much of a soda drinker, so apart from Dr. Pepper and Brio, I generally stay away from sweetened carbonated drinks. However, if I have to drink a cola, it’s usually Caffeine-Free Diet Coke, only because it tastes better to me. So you can imagine my shock when I read that most people think that diet sodas taste like crap. That just isn’t true for me.

So here’s my little celebrity story from my recent trip to London. Because, after all, what’s a trip to London without a celebrity story, right?
I was on Kensington High Street a few days ago when I saw a girl walking down the street in my direction with about three or four people taking photos of her. Not a swarm of paparazzi, but still more attention than a normal citizen would...

Everyone these days is a web designer. You don’t have to know anything about graphic design in order to be a web designer: you could be an interface designer, a web director, a project manager, a creative director, a webmaster, a web consumer. You can even be a writer, content strategist, and information […] (via Eloquation)
In Honor of Fat People
Reading The Guardian at breakfast Wednesday morning, I came across a short article in G2 by Stephen Moss refuting the claim that fat people are lazy. Now, as a fat guy myself, I must say I’m far from lazy, but Stephen Moss was even better: he collected a list of high achievers in history […] (via Eloquation)

I know it’s rude to laugh at other peoples’ misfortunes, especially when they’re as good looking as Scarlett Johansson, but it really does serve her right for trying to walk down stairs with a jacket over her head.

I’ll admit it, there have been times where I have been very ready to declare email bankruptcy. As someone that gets over 300 emails a day (not counting spam or forwards), it is easy to get swamped with email that you just can’t humanly answer or action. In my moments of weakness where I am staring at an inbox of over 1,500 emails for the week, I have learned to scan and sort very...

A couple of days ago, The London Paper ran a story about how the officials at the London Underground are discouraging their drivers from using the public address system in order to reduce passenger annoyance.
