I posted on Twitter yesterday that Ratatouille was the best movie I had seen all year, and I’m sticking by that comment. There are very few films in life that strike a chord in me like this one did, and a huge part of that is because of how technically perfect it was. Well, here’s a short video podcast on how some of the animators made Ratatouille come to life.

EW Hates A Lot of Things
Entertainment Weekly just came up with a slideshow of things they hate, and though I think ‘hate’ is a very strong word, I strongly dislike many of these things as well. Here’s the quick rundown: Paris Hilton all over the news. The overuse of that damn KT Tunstall song. When TV shows end at 10:02 p.m., 11:03 p.m., etc. Something about The Bachelor I don’t care...

Celebrate Canada Day with BBQ Sauce and Ribs →
Anyone that has ever met me can tell (judging mainly by my size) that I love to eat. Those of you who, like me, enjoy devouring some good grub and don’t have any plans to leave town for the long weekend might be interested to know that the 8th Annual Toronto Ribfest kicks off today and runs until Monday afternoon.

UrbanNOISE Heats Up Toronto's Northwest →
Last year’s UrbanNOISE festival was a resounding success: not only did it showcase the talent of this city’s youth, but it was a weekend of fun and excitement that left everyone wanting more. This year’s UrbanNOISE festivities kick off tomorrow, and if you haven’t already made plans to leave town for the long weekend, I highly recommend making the trip to the northwest of...

4 notes
I went to visit the Whole Foods in Kensington, London, when it opened there last month, and I have to admit, I was blown away. Sure, it was a bit pricey, but it was the ultimate grocery shopping experience. Which is why I absolutely loved this article about how the Whole Foods in NYC is making the checkout procedure faster.

Reading Release
The Gapers Block Book Club recently asked readers the following question: “Do you keep reading material in the bathroom? If so, what?” To be honest, if it wasn’t for the bathroom, I’d never get through reading any of the many magazines I have floating around. I equate bathroom time with magazine reading: articles are short and quick and get your mind of...
