Stumped.
Try as I might to find one, there is no answer anywhere on the web on how to make the 21 days between visits pass faster and make the missing you hurt less. Sad realization: while I may have found the answers to every other thing on the “things we could have googled but chose not to” list, even Google can’t answer the important questions.

It has been over two weeks since I was punched in the face. The bruising is all gone, you can’t even tell that I was touched, but yet the area around my left eye is still tender and sore and hurts incredibly. Maybe I need to see a doctor.

For free.
Maria sent me a wonderful link to a story about a man that has put a rose by his wife’s bedside every day for 60 years. It’s a story about selflessness and true love with no strings attached. And it warms my heart. Not completely sure why, but it also reminded me of this quote by Tom Robbins that I found on beautifulordinaire’s tumblelog: Love is the ultimate outlaw. It...

Odd things I saw...
…on my commute to work this morning: A woman wearing a parka in the 95 degree heat and sunshine. A man staring intently at a blank piece of paper for 4-5 minutes on the Metro. A man filling out the Washington Post crossword puzzle with numbers instead of letters. A woman sipping her Starbucks coffee with a plastic spoon instead of from the cup. A manager in my division wearing a...
