Tumblelogs of the year

Tom listed his favorite tumblelogs of 2007, and I am extremely honored to have made the list. If I had to pick just five (not an easy task, mind you) I would probably list my top five of the year as:

• Avenues: Even Jason Kottke gets links from Slava, so I’m pretty proud to actually know him in person.
• Tumbl.us: Not only is it all pretty looking, but the links are always good for some fun.
• The Deplorable Word: No, I’m not including Tom’s tumblelog because he included mine. Instead, I’m adding him to my list because he’s always good at pointing me towards great discussions, conversations, and ideas from around the web.
• Cameron i/o: One of the best designed tumblelogs, in my honest opinion, and Cameron’s always pushing the boundaries of what can be done with Tumblr.
• Scribbling.net: Gina blogs at Lifehacker to help us be more productive so that we can take our free time and check out the great links on her tumblelog.

If it’s at all possible, I’d like to give special kudos to Cubicle17, numblr, Instead of Working, and multihyphen as well. They didn’t make my top five, but I love them all the same.
