Yes, I was one of those evil people that laughed at Miss Teen South Carolina after her debacle, but it does look like she’s a very articulate and interesting young woman that was just caught in a bad situation. Kudos to Juan Cole for coming to her defense now that we’ve all had some time to think about the situation.
