A Lesson In Language
Garrett Murray has a great list of some writing mistakes, some of which I make occasionally as well. Time to start fixing some bad writing habits…
Here’s his list, in short:
- Less versus Fewer
- I.e. versus e.g.
- Et cetera
- Overuse of “that”
- Irregardless is NOT a word
- No double-space after periods (this is not 1965)
- Effect versus Affect
- Lose versus Loose
