Last week, I wrote a post about the death of Heath Ledger and why it had such a huge impact on my life. I wrote it mainly as a way for me to express my disappointment and heartache at the news.
While I know my blog gets a decent amount of readers (judging from my stats), I barely ever get the opportunity to understand what kind of impact my writing may make on others.
Today, after a particularly harrowing day, my friend Jenna sent me an email that contained the image above, taken from her MSN contact list. She told me that my post made an impact on her friend Mandy, who is now using a quote from my post as her MSN screen name.
I’m glad to hear someone found some heart and value in my writing. Sometimes, you need to get news like that to make all the work worth it in the end.
