It’s no secret that I’m hopelessly in love with Audrey Hepburn. Ever since watching her in Roman Holiday, then Breakfast at Tiffany’s, then Wait Until Dark, and eventually almost every single movie in her filmography, Hepburn has had a hold on me that I’ve never been able to shake. I spent my teenage years looking for my Sabrina Fairchild, my Holly Golightly.
It wasn’t until college that I started to fall for Grace Kelly, or, more accurately, fall for Georgie Elgin and perhaps even Tracy Samantha Lord. There was something more edgy about Grace Kelly, something more intriguing.
In the end, my love for Hepburn overcame my brief flirtation with Kelly, but to this day, they both remain two of my favorite actresses that have ever graced the cinema screen.
