Now that it’s raining more than ever…

Now, my surreal moment of the day for yesterday, May 31, 2007. Waiting for the bus to Hounslow yesterday morning, I got caught in a little drizzle from a passing storm cloud. Now, I don’t mind a good bit of rain from time to time, but I was a little annoyed that my suit jacket was getting a bit wet.

The cute girl behind me, as the rain began to fall, reached into her bag and then tapped me on the shoulder, probably sensing my minor aggravation, and said, “you can stand under my umbrella.”

From the back of the pack of people waiting for the bus, a young boy heard that statement and echoed: “ella ella eh eh eh.”
