”Whenever you get tired at your desk, just remember that there’s some kid being born right now somewhere, like in Sudan, who may never ever get to be here, where you are today. And smack yourself a few times and just keep studying and keep working and you better keep fighting. Because you’re here and he’s not. Because you get a voice, and so you have to make sure that somehow, his voice is heard when you speak. And in the end, really, you’re just lucky that you get to be here instead of there. And if he was here and you were out there, what would want him to say? And what would you expect him to do?
