My mother always gets mad at me when I tell her that I don’t plan on getting married. She complains that she won’t have grandchildren.
Of course, this makes no sense, because I’m not saying I won’t have kids; I just don’t need a piece of paper to prove that the person I’m raising my children with is my wife.
Because to be honest, I really want to have children. I think kids are filled with so much potential and goodness that their wholesomeness needs to be fostered.
So what do I wish for my children? I wish that my children learn from me and from the people around them. Learn about everything and anything and never lose their sense of curiosity.
But most of all, I hope that I learn from them. I wish that they are able to teach me much more than I can ever teach them and that they keep exploring the wonders of the world around them.
