Here’s what I love about the progression of the weekly Obama videos: they’re actually listening to their constituents.
After the first video, people complained that the background was stale and needed some refreshing. The video team changed their setting based on viewer feedback.
After the first two videos, people complained that comments were disabled on the videos and people couldn’t respond. The video team promptly enabled comments.
After YouTube introduced the new widescreen video format, people encouraged Obama to create widescreen videos.
Well, as you can see, the new Obama videos are all presented in the new widescreen format.
Awesome.
Say what you want about his politics and policies, you can’t argue that his social media team is listening and reacting. And that’s a change I’ve come to believe in.
