I’m continually impressed with the new Art Gallery of Ontario. Not only do they have a social media strategy, an SMS-communications plan, a wonderful restaurant, a most entertaining gift shop, and an architectural uniqueness that makes it truly world-class, but now they prove that they know how to listen to their patrons:
Our visitors have spoken (loudly) and the AGO has listened and changed its policy on public photography in the building. The revised policy enables visitors to take personal, non-commercial photos in and around the iconic architectural elements of the new AGO.
I love it when organizations and institutions can prove that they not only can talk, but are willing to listen as well.
