Squandrous

Protesters are smashing car windows, storefront windows, throwing large items at police and innocent bystanders. Police officers are using tear gas, sound cannons, and riot gear.

None of this is productive, none of this will help people understand the other side. Instead, it polarizes the discussion even further, makes things worse.

I am appalled and horrified that this is happening in my city.

That billion dollars that the government spent on security that everyone was complaining about? The protesters have done a good job of proving that PM Harper made a good decision to spend the money.

Despicable, disgusting, and horrifying. This makes me sad for humanity.

(I am a few blocks away from the protesters, thankfully. Still, the streets around me are deserted; the din of the riots are a murmur in the distance. People are scared to leave their homes. Sad.)
