Lost iPhone, and other good news.
So after spending most of the morning trying to track down my lost iPhone, AT&T has confirmed that somebody took out my SIM card and started using it in another phone. Which means not only have I pretty much lost my iPhone forever, but someone could have contacted people I know and sent out weird messages using another phone.
Apologies if you were on the receiving end of any of those.
In the end, that means I need to buy a new phone. I don’t think I’m going to get a new iPhone (seeing as how I just bought this one two months ago) and instead I’ll just get an American SIM for my UK phone. I’ve become so dependent on my iPhone for all sorts of things, but hey, such is life. I’ll adapt.
This is the last I’ll say about the lost phone; there’s no use dwelling on bad news. After all, I got to hang out with a great friend from Toronto last night and this morning, and another one of my favorite people shared some good news with me last night that made me smile. That, and the sun is out and shining through my office window.
There are lots of reasons to smile today. I’ll be doing a lot of that. Smiling, that is.
(Just don’t try to call me for a little while.)
